I talk to Gabby all the time about beauty. To be honest, I'm worried about her. I'm worried about her growing up in a culture so mixed up about real beauty. So I tell her constantly that she's beautiful, both inside and out. I want her to know who she is in Christ. I want her to know that while her physical appearance will change constantly, her beauty will only grow over time.
Right now she doesn't get much out of these conversations, so maybe they're more about me practicing than her believing. But my dream for her is that one day she'll walk in beautiful confidence, a voice for her generation, reminding young women that real beauty is created by a good God, and not the click of a mouse.
