- Had a great time with some of our guys at our second annual men's retreat. Great fellowship. Golf. Bible study. Prayer and ministry time. Late night games of Risk. Good times:)
- Drove straight from the men's retreat to speak the closing session of the Refocus Leadership Conference on Saturday night.
- The Freedom Center did an amazing job leading in worship at the conference. So refreshing!
- At the conference I talked about "How to Change the World." I felt like Jesus put the big idea in my heart specifically for this gathering. The world is changed by changed people.
- Investing in leaders energizes me.
- Doug Clay spoke at our gathering yesterday morning. He passed around a football and had different people in the church sign it. Then he challenged us to continue to throw catchable passes to the next generation.
- I lost my voice and sounded like I was experiencing puberty again. Our church thought it was funny:)
- This weekend was exhausting. I felt like I hit the wall Saturday night. Leah and I crashed yesterday afternoon!
- Watching the Lions made me sick to my stomach. We may hit a new low this year.
- After yesterday we only have one more Sunday morning service left in our current building. Looking forward to seeing what God will do!
